Scottish Nature Photography Awards
We
are pleased to announce the launch this September of a new website - www.scottishnaturephotographyawards.com
- celebrating nature, wildlife and landscape photography in Scotland.
The
site features a rolling programme of free online nominations and votes on different
photographic themes, and nominations have just opened for "Favourite Nature
Photographer". With a two-stage nomination and voting process, there is the
opportunity to win prizes in the free prize draws and to acknowledge the nature
and landscape photographers who have inspired and enthused you. The Voting stage
will open in January next year for a chance to win
a bottle of 12 year old single malt whisky, kindly donated by The Glenlivet.
The
main Photographic Competition will launch in March 2010. This contest will consist
of a number of nature, landscape and wildlife categories to enter and will be
for images taken in Scotland by professional, semi-professional or amateur photographers.
