In
response to a need for a high resolution scan that would allow photographers to
meet demanding industry standards for publication, whilst protecting their original
assets, we set up the ProRes4000 service in 2001. This service supplies a “digital
original” of the transparency, thus giving the photographer the flexibility
to work on the image digitally and to utilise it for a number of purposes at the
same time. We scan 35mm slides and 35mm panoramics to a 4000dpi file. The image
is digitally cleaned at 100% view and calibrated to the original.
The
ProRes300 service provides printers, publishers or design agencies a ready to
place prepress image. We scan from prints, artwork, slides and negatives to output
sizes from A6 to A0 in industry standard RGB or CMYK colour profiles.
